How to Update Getcaller and Why It Helps

Keeping any app updated, including Getcaller, helps it run smoothly and stay aligned with your device's operating system. Here is how to check for updates and turn on automatic updates, and why doing so can help.

Check for updates on Android

Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, and select "Manage apps & device." If Getcaller appears under available updates, tap "Update." You can also search for Getcaller directly in the Play Store - if the button shows "Update" instead of "Open," a newer version is available.

Check for updates on iOS

Open the App Store, tap your profile icon in the top corner, and scroll down to see pending updates. If Getcaller is listed, tap "Update" next to it, or "Update All."

Turn on automatic updates

On Android, go to the Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Settings > Network preferences > Auto-update apps, and choose your preferred option. On iOS, go to Settings > App Store and turn on "App Updates" under automatic downloads. Menu names can vary slightly by device model and OS version.

Why keeping Getcaller updated can help

Installing the latest version is one of the steps our own troubleshooting guidance recommends when caller ID display, notifications, or app stability don't behave as expected. Staying current doesn't guarantee every issue will be avoided, but it is a simple, low-effort habit that can reduce the chance of running into a problem a prior update already addressed.

A note on device compatibility

Getcaller is designed to work with Android 6.0 or later and iOS 13.0 or later. If your device is running an older operating system, check your device settings for a system update as well.
