Check phone permissions carefully
Android may show permission choices in the phone settings. Read each prompt and choose only the access you are comfortable granting. If a feature is unavailable, check whether the app explains which setting is needed rather than assuming a displayed name or label is always correct.
Review notifications and display options
Look at notification and display-related options in both Getcaller and the Motorola settings. Device software can organize menus differently, so use the search field in Settings if you cannot find an option.
Use results as context
Caller information and number-lookup results are context, not a guarantee of identity. Pause before responding to an unfamiliar call and use your own judgment.
Recheck after updates
After an update, open the app, confirm that your preferred settings still look right, and adjust only the options you understand.
