How to Set Up Getcaller on Samsung Devices
Samsung's One UI includes its own battery and background-app management tools, which can sometimes limit how reliably notification-based apps like Getcaller run. If notifications feel delayed or the app pauses in the background, a few settings changes usually help.
Why extra setup helps
One UI's Battery and device care tools are designed to extend battery life by limiting background activity for apps the system doesn't recognize as frequently used. This can occasionally delay notifications or pause background checks. The steps below tell the system to treat Getcaller as an app that should keep running normally.
Step 1: Set Getcaller's battery usage to unrestricted
Go to Settings > Apps > Getcaller > Battery, and choose "Unrestricted" if that option is available on your model. This tells the system not to apply extra background limits to Getcaller.
Step 2: Remove Getcaller from sleeping apps
Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Background usage limits. If Getcaller appears under "Sleeping apps" or "Deep sleeping apps," remove it from that list so the system doesn't pause it automatically.
Step 3: Check "Put unused apps to sleep" settings
