Review Getcaller Settings on a Nokia Phone

Nokia phones can use different Android versions, so the names and locations of settings may vary. If you use Getcaller and something does not behave as expected, review the basics on your own device rather than assuming every Nokia menu is the same.

Check app access

Open your phone’s Settings and find Getcaller in the Apps list. Review the permissions shown there and keep only the access you want to use. If you expect notifications, also check the app’s notification settings. Menu labels can differ by Android version.

Review battery controls

Look for the app’s Battery or background-activity options. Battery optimization can limit background activity on some Android devices, but changing it may use more battery. Do not change a restriction unless you have a reason; if you do, follow the wording on your phone and review the effect afterward.

Check caller ID setup

If caller ID is not appearing as expected, review Getcaller’s in-app setup and your phone’s default phone-app settings. These settings do not guarantee that every call will have a name or other context.

When the labels differ, use your phone’s built-in Settings search or the guide for your exact model and Android version.
