Viewing Numbers You Have Flagged
Getcaller keeps track of numbers you have searched or reported as spam. You can review this history at any time to see which numbers you have already checked.
- Open the Getcaller app.
- Go to Search History from the main menu.
- Numbers you reported as spam are marked with a spam indicator, so you can spot them quickly.
Blocking Numbers on Your Phone
Getcaller helps you identify a number before you decide what to do with it. For actually blocking calls, your phone's built-in blocking feature works alongside Getcaller:
- Android: Open the Phone app, go to Recent Calls, tap the number, then choose Block or Report spam.
- iOS: Open the Phone app, go to Recents, tap the (i) icon next to the number, then choose Block this Caller.
A practical routine many users follow: check the number in Getcaller first, then use your phone's native blocking option if you decide to block it. No app can guarantee that every unwanted call will be blocked, so reviewing context before you decide is still worth doing.
Unblocking a Number
If you block a number by mistake, you can undo it from your phone's own settings:
- iOS: Settings > Phone > Blocked Contacts.
- Android: Settings > Call (or Phone) > Blocked Numbers.
Getcaller does not maintain a separate block list of its own — blocking itself always happens at the device level, which keeps the behavior consistent with how your phone already works.
